About CoBlind

Helping creators build for everyone

We make free tools that help designers and developers see their work through the eyes of people with color blindness. Around 300 million people worldwide experience some form of color vision deficiency—and most accessibility issues are totally fixable. You just need to know what to look for.

What We're About

Accessibility testing shouldn't be expensive, complicated, or require uploading sensitive files to someone's server. We built CoBlind because we thought there had to be a better way—and now it's free for everyone.

Free for everyone—no paywalls, no premium tiers, no limits on usage

Easy to understand—because accessibility shouldn't require a PhD in vision science

Private by default—your images never leave your browser, ever

Our Values

We Practice What We Preach

CoBlind itself is designed for accessibility: proper contrast ratios, semantic markup, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support built in from day one.

Your Stuff Stays Yours

Everything runs in your browser. Your images and designs never touch our servers—no uploads, no tracking, no data collection.

Free Means Free

No feature gates, no registration walls, no "premium tiers." Every tool is 100% free because accessibility testing shouldn't depend on your budget.

Our Story

1

We Saw a Problem

Most color blindness tools were either expensive, clunky, or required uploading sensitive design files to third-party servers. We figured there had to be a simpler way to help creators check their work.

2

So We Built It

In 2025, we launched CoBlind with a simple idea: powerful color blindness simulation that runs entirely in your browser. No servers, no uploads, no waiting. Just drag, drop, and see.

Where We Are Now

Today, thousands of designers, developers, and accessibility advocates use CoBlind every month. We've added website checking, palette analysis, and a bunch of educational content—all still free, all still private.

What We Build

CoBlind gives you a full toolkit for color accessibility testing. Each tool tackles a specific problem—pick the one that fits your workflow:

Image Simulator

Drop in any image and see it through the lens of different color vision types. Great for testing UI designs, infographics, or really anything visual.

Website Checker

Take a screenshot of any site and run it through the simulator. Spot accessibility problems in navigation, buttons, and content before your users do.

Try Website Checker →

Palette Analyzer

Paste in your brand colors or design system palette and get instant feedback on contrast and color differentiation for all vision types.

Try Palette Analyzer →

Color Blind Test

Curious about your own color vision? Take an Ishihara-style test right in your browser. Handy if you want to understand how you personally see color.

Take the Test →

We Take Privacy Seriously

Here's how it works: when you upload an image or test a palette, all the processing happens right in your browser. Your files never get sent anywhere. We literally can't see what you're testing.

No tracking, no cookies beyond the basics, no third-party analytics watching what you do. We don't ask you to create an account. Your designs are your business.

This privacy-first approach also means CoBlind works offline once it's loaded, processes images instantly without upload delays, and handles sensitive design files without any risk.
